Our society is now highly focused on the use of technology, so it becomes part of their normal world. Think about what you see when you go out- cell phones, computers, GPS, digital billboards, tablets, etc… all being used by normal people and businesses. You can pay with your phone, shop, order tickets, order food, and talk to people globally. So, is it an addiction or tech smothering by the world?
To get kiddos to lay off of tech, lay down the law. Allow tech only to be out at certain times of the day and make sure you model appropriate tech usage. Plan fun family days and nights to give them something else to do. Get the kids involved in sports, clubs, or church groups to get them out of the house and active. Hopefully, you can find some ways to reduce the tech use in your family.

This is what we must do first! Its the parents that buy these phones for the kids right? As far as I know most kids don't have jobs so where do they come from!
