You're absolutely correct sir. It has been a major argument/debate right from the First to this Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

steal... I don't think "steal" is the appropriate word here. It's like saying an expresso machine stole a brewer's job. Everything that we can do can also be done by a machine, except perhaps employ imagination, and much faster. At every step in these industrial revolutions, jobs haven't dissapeared. They have transformed from, doing X to Use Y to do X.
Perhaps you'll be served by a robotic clerk at Starbucks in the future, but certainly there will be a robotic clerk programmer.
Jobs have not dissapeared. They have mutated. The fear of being obsolete (skillwise) is an entirely different story.
You just rephrased what I have said, haven't you?
