I wish cooking will be automated. I saw works on a robotic arms which will be installed in kitchen and will do cutting, preparation and cooking. The movements are taken from motion tracking real chef. The recipes will also be from best chefs in the world. I think you can already preorder this machine. This is something i would buy :)

Maybe 3D printing of food is more useful?better? I see working products. But when AI will be involved in this - human creative cooking versus AI cooking will be such as human go player versus AI...
3d printing would be easier and cheaper to implement but than you need to pastes or powders as raw material and trust producers that they will put everything what we need into it. Since every day there is new and often conflicting food "science" discovery, i dont believe they are ready to do that. I prefere real food as long as i can find it in the shops. Than robotic arms to prepare it. I will watch 3d printed food from distance when they start testing on humans :)
Yes, common even recipe based cooking will be automated. However, creative cooking (recipe) and taste creation will be still in human's endeavor. However, once machines can analyze human taste, then creative recipe (e.g, new taste) will be no longer be in human's domain.
