Li-Fi is a future technology of high speed internet, communication and super fast network with the help of visible light of LED . Li-Fi stands for "Light Fidelity" visible light communication technology . It is similar to Wi-Fi, but 100x faster than faster.

Harald Haas professor of University of Edinburgh on 2011 at Ted Talk he shared his technology of transmitting data with the help of light bulbs. Professor and his team is still working on their project to make it secure and stable for public use .

This technology has a great potential ahead in future , especially in IT world . Li-Fi is working with top companies to implement their technology and develop it . General Electric, LVX System, Oledcomm, Philips are the top companies which will be replacing old bulbs with new LED bulbs that will help to increase the stable high speed network. The industry is expecting to grow by 47% by 2020. Li-Fi is a future network.

What Would You Do If You Would Have A 225 GBPS Speed Internet ?

The problem to this tech is that you need sight connection, but it is very promising for transferring huge amounts of data.

They are working on technology , that's why it isn't still out there for public use. It will come by 2020 .

This tech isn't out for public use, because it is impractical and unreliable. Also I can't imagine a way how this is fixed, because photons (aka light) are easily reflected, literally the reason why we can see things.
