Well, you are right about "green" side. By the way, the modern production of one electric car generates more emissions than the production of one car with internal combustion engine.

PS: you quote references for the images, which is good, but it may be nice to also add references to the text (so that the reader could find more information easily). Thanks in advance for your consideration :)

Perhaps you are right, a way of indicating the links at the end of the article - not the most convenient for readers.

I would do it in the same way you indicate the sources for the images.

Let us not trample upon literary standards, every paper i've ever written cites all sources at the end of the paper, a page called References or Works Cited. I think listing all resources at the end allows you red through the body of the work uninterrupted, you can then research necessary parts at your leisure. #IJS

A good compromise is to add hyperlinks within the text using keywords
