Samsung holds the top position in the smartphone market by selling the device. However, Huawei and Shawmi achieved annual growth among the top five device manufacturers. The two-year-old company's sales increased by 7.7 percent and 79 percent, respectively, compared to the same quarter last year.

Gartner's research director Anshul Gupta said that many people around the world are still using feature phones. Companies are not doing the updating of feature phones on smartphone due to the absence of quality and very affordable smartphones in the market and customers' interest towards the feature phones. Smartphone users are moving in a more standard model and have been using them for a long time. On the other hand, the trend of device updates has decreased among high-end smartphone users.

He said the use of the fourth-generation network of phorajis in the world's emerging smartphone markets has begun. High-end mobile phones are supported in the market and there are still significant demand for smartphones with good quality cameras. However, due to the absence of innovation in new models, customers will be satisfied with the old ones. As a result, sales of smartphones are declining. Due to this, there has been a negative impact on the sale of the device.

South Korean-based Samsung has topped the device in the global smartphone market. In the second quarter of last quarter of 2016, the company's smartphone sales fell 3.6 percent. US technology company Apple's annual device sales dropped 5 percent. Up to 3.9 percent of the world's top five device manufacturer's sales declined.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, the top 5 device manufacturers have increased the global market share. Considering market share, Samsung and Apple have lost the distance between other device manufacturers.

Huawei has made a huge response to the global smartphone market with 10 Light, Honor 6C Pro and Joy 7S devices. On the other hand, Shawmy MI and Redmi series devices have been able to further strengthen their position in the smartphone market. In particular, these devices have achieved remarkable growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Shawmy was able to take top position in the Chinese market.

Anushul Gupta said that the next growth of Huawei is dependent on the emerging markets of the Asia-Pacific region and business expansion in the United States. But in the US market the company's device business will not be easy to strengthen. The country is usually sold by cellphone operators. But AT & T and Verizon already reported that Huawei did not sell the device.

Huawei sold 15 million units last year, which is 9.8 percent of the total device sold in the global market. In the fourth quarter, Shawmy's device sold 27 million units, which is 6.9 percent of the total device sold in the global smartphone market. In the fourth quarter, Chinese companies in the list of top five device manufacturers have increased market share in coordination with 4 decimal points. On the other hand, Samsung and Apple's market share in the top two companies remained unchanged.
