Nothing can be 100% efficient. I'm sure with advancement in technology, the efficiency of the polygraph can be increased. However, i think any organization applying it should not base their judgment solely on it's outcome. I still feel that some people have varying pauses and blood pressure even while having an everyday conversations which may be interpreted as a lie by the polygraph. what if the person is afraid? how does the polygraph interprets that?
