This posix system is really easy to memorize. I think that an understanding is probably important, but I watched almost an hour or video instructions to make this simple note. That is the totality of permissions to date for the class. 0-7 is pretty simple, especially because it is only 0,1,2, and 4. If nothing else, Linux is efficient!
It is important to know because high-level languages are the first steps towards coding and Linux really is ever present. I no longer dread learning Linux. I have come to a turning point and welcome the challenges it presents.

Posix is 30 years old by now it would be weird if a bad system survived this long especialy when everybody can hack on it and improve what doesnt work.

WPA2 lasted 13 years without an exploit. I knew it was overdue and I have been saying it for years. Now that has come to fruition. My going theory is that advanced hardware hacks will soon be able hit a hdd with some kind of device, then SSD will be necessary in all but the most physically secure environments. Tape is easy to hack with very little equipment!

sorry i mean hack as in modify/tinker(play with) :D not as in cybersecurity cracking

It's open source, so it's secure because people timker with it...🎩🎩🎩
