image This is a very interesting topic today. In a world where technology is penetrating all areas of life, we spend most of our time watching the screen of our smartphones or sitting in front of a computer. Although the technology absorbs us and is leading us to be longer than necessary connected by virtual means, several surveys have determined that as human beings we are still looking for social interaction. In the immediate future, the irruption of technology in our lives will continue. Not only has changed and changed the way we communicate with those we know, but also with those we do not know and to some extent we can say that technology has become so omnipresent in our existence that we are not even aware of it.
Social Networks.
It is also a controversial issue how social networks are changing the way we communicate. Platforms such as Facebook and YouTube exceed one billion monthly active users, which gives rise to an idea of how they have completely redefined the way we build and maintain relationships. These social networks have found their way into our offices, living rooms and even into the dining rooms of our homes; they have even become our preferred way of meeting people to establish intimate relationships. It is estimated that adults spend 20-28 hours a week on social networks and on average have 275 personal connections through their social media channels. In some cases, where this data is exceeded, the person may end up suffering from a certain addiction to Facebook or the social network that they use.
However, only 11% of respondents physically see their social connections on a regular basis. Communication as we know it is changing rapidly. Social networks, mobile, and clouds have changed our lives, have changed our way of communicating and will continue to revolutionize the company and our way of life in the coming decades.
