Very good article.....this is 10 times more in depth to a piece I did when first jumping on steemit discussing how Apple was losing it's ability to shift/shape social trends.

The airpods release was the catalyst to that - I agree with your statements on the presentation. I also think they approached it poorly by forcing it on buyers of the next gen phone when they should have made it optional on then completely rid the headphone jack on the following gen. as they are a human generation early.

My opinion, but people 50+ like their wired headphones and headphone jack, generations younger will go for the change, especially millenials

Yes I think you are right. This is classic future thinking in the same way when Apple killed the floppy disk and the optical drive. It is hard for anyone over 25 to get it!
