LD is something which i never heard. Probably, too older before i came in this world but..wait 1990....i assume i never seen it. I remember watching movies on VCR that Video Cassette player, which works like old tape re order with some Video oytput.
Need is the mother of all innovation. Most probably as LD was not gaining popularity it gave people a reason to work upon some thought to introduce and improved latest way VIdeo Output. Really inyeresting to know about it after so long...or you may say first time
