The Google Home, Google's first Smart Speaker paired with its own Virtual Assistant.

Weighing in at £129.00 ($175.00) at most retail stores, you might just get your money's worth.

Having just gotten a Google Home speaker I thought I should say some things about it.

The google home has a vast range of commands, from turning up the volume, to ordering an Uber. You can even ask it to play a video on your chromecast enabled TV.

The google home is also highly compatible with all of these smart device companies:

Included are the most popular companies, JBL, LG, Dlink, Phillips, Samsung/Smart Things, and lots, lots more (as seen above)

You can do things from turning on the lights to locking the front door, and you can even broadcast your camera to your TV.

Now, speaker wise, it is a pretty great speaker. Not being an expert in audio quality, I can tell that it has good crisp and clear sound... The Google home can also get pretty loud (not party loud) but loud enough to enjoy it. It is also nice to have a function to turn down the volume handsfree. "Ok Google, turn down the volume".

Listening to music with it is my favourite part, compatibility with Google Play Music, Spotify, and TuneIn (FM Radio) you can enjoy a wide variety of music.

Now, I have to admit that it is a bit creepy that Google is listening to all of your conversations, but it certainly is useful to have a handsfree smart assistant at your expense.
