RE: ADSactly Tech News - Are Kids Addicted to Technology?

in #technology7 years ago (edited)

Though technology had its advantages but it has had an awful I would say impact on humans, the best examples are children..I remember our childhood used to be so hectic, in a sense we would play with things, get dirt, climb walls, get scratches on our body, get sick so often but all has changed in this time. But the biggest culprits to drag beautiful babies into this trap are only we people, as parents, as caretakers. We stay with them everytime but make them addicted to this tech world.Gone are the days when a kid would ask for a cycle as gift from his grandpa, nowadays it would be tab, ipad etc..And we as viewers feel so excited when the baby plays with the Gadget, it's like slow poison. Baby finds it sweet and in long run it has its repercussions. This is a fault of human which is imbibed by his children.Mother feeds them with milk which is the God's best food and we feed them with poison which is world's best Food :(

Some countries have banned the use of such devices in their education systems because of the scientific results that support the dangers that these devices pose to children. At this stage I have only seen the ban in place in the lower levels but it's a start.

While some countries are pushing ahead with high tech schools, you're certainly left wondering when others have banned it all together...

Absolutely it's a nuisance..It's not only Govt's job though, I think parents are sole one's who can only put it to end

Where I live, our government is pushing this sort of technology in our schools. I have opted out, we personally don't want it for our children. I'm lucky we have that choice at the moment, I think in years to come though, there will be no option. Not if you want your children to attend a conventional school.

You're right, parents have a lot to answer for. The sad truth is though that most parents have no idea what's really going on and most of them themselves are also addicted. How can we expect someone who is already addicted understand the dangers it poses for children?

I absolutely agree with you the parents need to step in and step up and control what our kids do...unless they are addicted too!!!
