Chinese authorities temporarily closed late Saturday the Chinese blogging site Sina Webbo for publishing what it called "racial profanity and discrimination."
According to Reuters, the authorities have told the site instructions to block many of its portals after the publication of inappropriate content and incorrectly directed on the site.
"The content of public opinion, obscene content and racial discrimination continued to spread over Sina Webbo," the China Office of Chinese Space Management said in a statement.
For his part, Webbo said in a separate statement that he accepts criticism and attaches key gateways such as the celebrity portal and their personal lives for a week.
The Chinese government has tightened control over online content as part of efforts to maintain what it says is "social stability."
The government has taken it upon itself to stop "pornographic" content, as well as the unauthorized publication of news.
State media said China had suspended up to 128,000 sites with offensive content and other "harmful" information in 2017.
The Sina Web site launched in 2009, similar to Twitter in terms of limited words in the publications, and the number of users about 600 million.
