As a maker and a blockchain enthusiast, I little found myself giggling throughout this video.
I was watching this video on YouTube where a guy installed an Amazon Alexa in every room of the house and created endless automation for anything you can think of. I can't even begin to explain it and just recommend watching the video as you will be blown away.
He created a centralized system that works across all Alexa devices, TV's, lights, and most everything else in the house into a Jarvis centralized computer system. Jarvis is a custom build AI built by Matt Farley.
He also created a cryptocurrency Farley COin that is built on top of Ethereum and is used to run Jarvis and reward the kids.
What can Jarvis do?
- Track both cars coming, going, and in route
- Chore tracking with cryptocurrency reward system for the kids
- Notify the house and parents when the house is broken into
- Synchronize all TVs in the house to full house music
- Display security camera feeds across all TVs and Computers in the house with visitor notification
- Control all RGB lights in the house based on events
- and so much more
The amount of work to program and build this is mind-blowing, but how well integrated it is without looking like a hack job is amazingly impressive. The scope of this project is impressive and I am curious how many Raspberry Pi, Arduino's, and Alexas went into this project.
I've wanted some RGB lights for the house but I really haven't thought of a really good use for them but this is the best use case I've ever seen. I really love the progress bar for kids tv time using the long RGB display.

Reminds me of a movie I watched once, I think with Sylvester Stallone, it was all futuristic, some people were out to get him and they could tell his movements and hear what was going on inside his house.
Only if you trust Amazon to not mess up the family? But who cares, we buy everything from amazon, just like we give google all our privacy data.

For regular income? hmmm.. for $20 a day and if you upvote all your posts, you'll need only 25,000 to 30,000 SP, less if the price of STEEM increased.
So, 1 Million SP will make you insanely rich, even with the current STEEM price.

I get a funny feeling that Alexas most common chore reminder is clipping the cats nails and emptying the litter box. I don't think I could be that innovated but I sure did like where the kids could pick what they wanted to watch by pressing a button with a cartoon decal on it....I can't count how many times my grand kids mess my tv up by pushing the wrong buttons.
Interesting. I wouldn't want a voice to tell me my dishes were overdue, it would make me not want to do them even more. Which reminds me, I need to do the dishes LOL
