A quick review of what apple announced in WWDC 2017

Last night in San Jose, Apple launched its annual developer conference, the WWDC 2017. Before Tim Cook arrived on stage, the venue was very excited and filled with a group of thirsty journalists who farmed information, To break the rumors and speculation about what is in store this year. Last year, we saw Siri come on macos, improved messaging (with stickers), and an enhanced Continuous mode between laptops and mobile devices from the apple cracker.


This year, Apple wanted to rekindle the little flame that certain, perhaps lost, by making a bunch of ads, not just on the software side. If you were absent, know that you will be able to relive all the main announcements of the keynote of Apple in the continuation of this article.


Tim Cook took the floor to announce the MacOS and iOS updates, new iterations in the range of devices, and includes the iMac Pro and iPad Pro, and an ARKit for developers. The most important announcement is obviously the HomePod, its connected speaker.

Amazon Prime on Apple TV

Apple and Amazon have finally found a way to collaborate. Later in the year, the Amazon Prime app will be available on Apple TV. Although this is not a surprise is given rumors announcing its arrival, such an addition certainly goes to the Apple to better counter the offer of Google.

Apple reveals watchOS 4

Apple has revealed the latest version of watchOS for its watches connected Apple Watch. Siri manages a new watch dial that displays the information most relevant to you, such as traffic, your next meeting and other information that comes from your diary. The Exercise application and the Music application accessible to young sports enthusiasts.

WatchOS 4 Improves Interaction on Apple Watch

MacOS High Sierra, MacBook Pro and iMac Pro

The next big Apple MacOS update, version 10.13, baptized was named "High Sierra". The new desktop all-in-one is the most powerful machine ever made by Apple. The Sierra MacOS suite is called "High Sierra"

Finally, the range of MacBook Pro will receive the latest processors on the market, namely Kaby Lake chips, and supports up to 32 GB of RAM.

Apple Pay P2P

Apple adds the ability to make payments to third parties from Apple Pay, and integrates technology into the Messages application. This is an excellent feature that everyone is looking forward to.

Siri now translates on the fly

Siri, Apple's voice assistant gets a host of new features, including a better way to express themselves, as part of an update for iOS 11 attends this fall. Other techniques include the ability to arrange translations by speaking to Siri, starting with translations from English into Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French and German.

Metal 2 will stimulate the game on macOS

Apple's graphic API, Metal, gets a big update with the arrival of MacOS High Sierra. Metal 2 will dramatically improve compared to the original version of the API, Apple said. In version 2.0, you'll get improved performance, as well as support for external graphics cards, a feature we're all looking forward to. With the upgrade, Mac owners will finally be able to go into the RV sector without buying an expensive and personalized PC.

Metal 2 also benefits from support for virtual reality (VR)
So, it will certainly help the games to run more optimally across the entire range of Apple devices.

Apple unveils iOS 11

The iOS update from Apple, iOS 11, includes a new App Store, special features dedicated to the iPad much more useful, Live Photos that can now create wireless loops, and more. The company also unveiled a new "do not disturb while driving" option, which detects if you are driving.

Wow, not much of an apple fanboy, but seems like there are quite a few great updates they made this year.

PS: I am still waiting for 20th June, Oneplus 5 Launch ;)

not sure why they charge so much. when one plus delivers more power than iphones but the culture of i devices is pretty old.
