This sounds very interesting indeed. The realism - connecting it to your real life drama ( for lack of a better word ) - really intrigues me. I'm also a big fan of improv, and the filming to get ideas and make it to the next step are very much my style.
Having a background in filmmaking myself ( mainly my own, often never finished, independent projects and some feature film attempts ) I'm extra interested in following your journey.
See you around,
Vincent
Thanks so much @vincentnijman! Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the interplay between the production and story crafting in realtime. There will be some interstitial media playing within the film that will interact with the main characters, which is one of the aspects I want to explore with #HIVE participation and I'm just beginning to set up a framework for that, but it would be excellent to get you in the mix there!
Awesome! I will make sure to ( try and ) keep a close eye on your process.
All the best,
Vincent
P.S. I watched Billy Wilder's Fedora yesterday. Ever seen that movie? It's similar in theme to the legendary Sunset Boulevard.
I haven't but will make sure to. Thanks for the reco!
You're welcome. Just don't expect the same quality. It was one of the very last films by B W ;<)
