Internet Police and the Future of Man

Control and regulation is the fight existent within every human being. It's a psychological warfare of sorts and everyone mostly perpetuates the "police man in the head" and projects and enforces the "police man in the head" rhetoric.

With regards to the importance of "Rhetoric" in a world of competition based on competing against one another here for survival - It's increasingly important to collect information on your fellow competitors. In this regard everyone is the product and the consumer. Regardless if you are a creator/innovator...you are also always the product and the consumer.

There's a misalignment of Trust that is compromising to mostly everything.

Our world economy is so much so a war/military police state. The whole structural approach has been a zero sum game of many consequences. The consequences have been compounding for years and we're really at perilous times in terms of how we create the future.

There's much debate about the dichotomy between privacy and transparency.

Some experts postulate that we've created a hyper stimulated society that is ruthlessly dependent upon the individual experience of the user. The user/addict will fight for their addiction at all costs.

The consumer competition based society can be described as, The Race to the Bottom. It justifies and perpetuates a hyper active thirst for more and more compromising consumption and an overall degradation of quality.

Many reports existent around the world showcase the young people have never felt more isolated throughout all of history. Yet - at the same time, as a result of technology, "We're more connected to everyone through the internet and our devices"

Many young people around the world feel more comfortable connecting online than they do in person. This is an extensive situation which showcases somewhat the intensity of suppression within human interactions.

I highlight mention the war economy of sorts and the compromising outflow - because we've really perpetuated an inferior human civilization - masquerading around within glosses of superiority as the basis of our competitive race. Not realizing nor understanding the extent to which we've stagnated and massively suppressed the utmost potential of humanity as a result of becoming these sorts of "insured destroyers" that merely act out the programming ways to insure our best survival at the expense and peril of everyone else.

Think about the nature of competition within business in this world. Law suits, bullying....racing to market. Insider trading. Manipulation. Theft. Spying. Abuse. Sales. Advertising. Control and Influence. Celebrity endorsement. Corner cutting. Cost cutting.

  • There's a lot of interesting stuff here.

  • Basic Highlight is on the underlying theme of first and foremost "war".....war as like this "unhealthy competition".

  • Competition can be a really healthy thing when and as it's a point of sharing for mutual benefit as "creative collaboration" and encouraging best development and innovation practices.

  • Yet within this basic framework of survival and competing to survive - it means to in a way accept the rules of engagement....the rules of war.....that basically it's winner at all costs.....there's no morality in a cold war....and thus it's a matter of doing whatever is necessary to insure your individual survival/desire.

When we think about the consequence we are breeding and perpetually breeding in our reality as an outflow of competition from the starting point of "zero sum gain"...where it's "insured destruction"....."insured eventually extinction".....this compromising way of play is simply unacceptable.

It's no wonder we have "bad actors"....we have a bad system that perpetuates and highlights "bad play". In some ways it's cool that there's measures in place to account for "bad play"....but it's extremely limiting when you are just managing the problem...as this is a form of compensation that doesn't heal the problem and change the problem from a problem into a viable thriving solution.

My reflections here today are in response to the article: Google Maps Sabotage is a Scary Problem for All Users, 'Internet Police'

I think choice causes humans an awful lot of stress I don't even think many have taken the time to breathe....to take a breath to slow down and actually process....articulate the extent of the strain and stress here within having so much choice. There's kind of an unsettling experience within being in a constant state of flux. Settlement is ironically the "secret".

Agree 100%!

Sometimes the environment becomes very cruel because it was created by certain parties like that. Therefore, automatically the pattern of thought or character of society will be formed to be not good and lost common sense. This is horrible and very unfortunate!

Thank you @worldclassplayer have shared something very useful.

Love peace!

I find this a little fascination that for last 100 years we have been taught that 'you are the most important person in the world'. It's no wonder that we have become such brats ;-)
I would always agree that sense of self and importance of one's own ego is paramount to leading a fulfilling life. My problem arises from that fact that self sacrifice is not only actively discouraged in that portrayal of the modern man and woman in the media, it is actively looked down upon.
Warriors and hero's of old are called names and their tales recounted as a lessons to stay away from sacrifice.
Okay I am going to stop the rant. The thing is that I see my elders, who are the silent heroes who raised me. Sacrificed a part of their lives to give me the best and try to make me a better a person. Somehow if they were to be called in an interview - I can guarantee that there would be this sneaky little attacks by the interviewer asking them that why they had to go to such troubles.
There is a chance that this so called successful interviewer is probably estranged from his own children.
.............they ask - where they went wrong? The answer is simple - there is more to raising a part of humanity than just changing diapers.

I am gong to stop now because I am going around in circles

Thanks for sharing.

I think you hit the nail on the head several times here.

  • "A culture of Brats" - nicely put.

  • "Silent Heroes' - I'm reminded about the best leadership being a point of example....where it's often just a point of our ordinary participations here - and a consistency within it for managing and caring for our responsibilities....where it's not about putting ourselves in the limelight or seeking attention per se...it's about giving because we got it to give. (Lao Tzu comes to mind and the Silent Leader who barely needs to say anything)

enjoyed your rant - Cheers :)

Glad you enjoyed :-)
