The K-12 program of Department of Education includes the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - Programming strand under Technical Vocational and Livelihood program. One of the schools in Bulacan that offers Programming Strand is Guiguinto National Vocational High School (GNVHS).
GNVHS offers different strand of ICT program, such as Animation, Computer System Servicing, Illustration, Programming (.Net & Java) and Technical Drafting. In programming strand, the school offers .Net technology for Grade 11 students, then Java Programming for Grade 12 students.
During the first year of fully implementation of k-12 program, the programming students of GNVHS had already been successful in developing different kinds of system that will help the community of Guiguinto Bulacan.

After successfully created their first developed program, they were asked to let both students and school personnel to evaluate and check the correctness of their work.

As for the results of their evaluation, some of the students where ask to revise the computation of their program and others are advise to redesign the graphical user interface of their system.
Today, these students are now studying Java Programming, and we are very excited to see and witness the new system that they will soon developed. Our students aim to create a social media site, mobile application, games and others want to join steemit and dig cryptocurrency.
