Many of us use telegram as quite safe and secure communication tool.
This news may not be the best today.

Telegram has been ordered to hand over users encryption keys of it's users to Russian authorities last year, but it appealed the rulling. Yesterday however the Supreme Court upheld the rulling.

The company got 15 days to hand over its private encryption keys. The alternative is to be blocked in Russia where it has over 10 million users.

Telegram's founder comment:

"Threats to block Telegram unless it gives up private data of its users won't bear fruit. Telegram will stand for freedom and privacy."

I'll leave the judgement of the situation up to you.
