When we think about the future, we think of all possible sorts of inventions, like flying cars, everlasting health and even possibly more stuff like this by shown by boredpanda. And in addition to this, many would like teleportation. Before I indulge in why you wouldn't want it, lemme tell you a little about it.

What is teleportation?
I don't think there's any human in the world who doesn't know this, so I'll skip this. SUPPOSE you don't know about teleportation (ʘᗩʘ'), click here

How teleportation could be possible
The underlying principle is that we get the data of all the particles of the person and in doing so, take you apart atom by atom. Then we send that data through a distance, by any medium, and finally, you're reconstructed there. You can also take this up a notch and change some of that data to make yourself look younger and hotter, kinda like a rebirth. Sounds great, right? Now here's the catch, down below...
The Catch
Imagine a hypothetical case in which your body doesn't have to be deconstructed for getting the data. So, when the data is transferred, your body is reconstructed. And suppose you send the data to 2 places. Let's call the guy before teleportation as NEO, and the 2 others as Agent Smith 1 and Agent Smith 2. Didn't get it? Thing is, you created 2 clones who are identical to you in every way possible, including your soul (if you believe in that stuff (◕‿◕)).
So from this conclusion, is that guy who has been created, you (through real teleportation) ?
Well, yes and no. The thing is, only the data is transferred, and not you. To all those other than you, the other guy is you. A complete replica, with no change. But, you would've been destroyed. And no one will know it. To them, the teleport was successful and now, your clone gets to enjoy his life. Since your mind and that guy's mind is the same, you don't have to worry about him cheating on your wife (or do you..? :D), but you can no longer enjoy those sunny days at the beach with a bottle of alcohol in your hands, cause you no longer cease to exist. (ಥ_ಥ)
Note: The above is just my hypothesis and hasn't been proven yet. I have only been able to find one guy who has come to realize this and post it as a youtube video
Bonus: Why we'll be late to work, even if we use teleportation
With the variety of inventions that help us go to work faster, we use that extra time to sleep in bed longer, rather than for its intended purpose. If teleportation is invented, some people will wake up 10 minutes before work and, as expected, still show up late to work.

Wondering. This means that teleportation is actually changing location, but creating clones with your identity. Surprising hypotheses. I'd like to see an experiment or proof if you have access to any later.
Maybe scientists will find a way to full teleportation and I may be able to leave planet earth. Dream come true.
They've actually proved with photons that only a copy of the actual photon is transported, through entanglement of the photons. They also transported a very small amount of matter, but when it comes to living beings, things become a little complicated...
I am also thinking about it this way and I am really curious if there is anyone thinking the opposite.
