I had visited delhi the previous week for some work and i hardly got time to explore delhi but do not worry i did not missed the chance to explore the largest temple of the world.....
Yes, it Akshardham or Swaminarayan temple...

This huge temple is next to Yamuna Bank,ypu can easily go via delhi metro....

Facts about this temple...

1. This temple is spread accross 100 acres making it worlds largest temple ever....
2. Its history reflects 10,000 years old indian culture.
3. This temple is built in a way that it can last for about 1000 years.
4. It contains 500 sculptured stone figures and 20,000+ statues of divine figures.
5. This temple has 10 gates which represents the 10 directions according to vedic culture...
6. This temple has 11 feet high beautiful sculptured statue of swaminarayan and is decorated magnificently with gold ornaments.
