Indeed, Paraguay is the country out of the 10 listed that I have never visited. When I was in the French Navy, I visited these countries in South America: Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru. But, as Paraguay has no access to the sea, I have never visited Paraguay.
I went to a ski camp in Austria during the Christmas break in 1964.
I visited Yugoslavia (Split) in 1969, while I was in the French Naval Academy.
I visited Senegal several times, Portugal in 1970, and Cyprus and Lebanon in 1985, with the French Navy.
I went to Australia in 2000 for the Olympic games in Sydney.
And I went to China to visit my younger sister who was living in Beijing then.

I'm thinking Australia becuase it is a world away. I think Australia because of where it is located.

I am going to go with Autriche (Austria) because it is not on a coast and I know you were in the Navy.

Yes, I was in the French Navy for 20 years, but before that I went to Austria when I was 15 years old at a ski camp during the Christmas break in 1964.

I probably would have gone with China or Australia, just because they are geographically apart from the other choices, but the winning answer makes good sense. By the way, with the 7 day payouts, I'm not sure what the correct length of time is on responses for these "10" posts. I tried to draw out mine for about 48 hours before picking a winner. Maybe 24 hours would have been fine also. One week is too long for people to wait for an answer, I think.

other locations could've been mixed, so you might have seen more than 1 country at a time.
Nothing is too far away, these days.
it was either australia or Sénégal was my choice just because they seem like they'd need to be their own trip, whereas the other multiple locations like those in Europe, Asia, and those in south america can be combined.
