Wish I was back in San Blas, Tenerife, where this photo was taken a mere three weeks ago. I had a fabulous family holiday in the sun. Of course, I probably ate too much on the All Inclusive! But San Blas and Golf Del Sur were lovely, and I am planning to return there, however next time I will rent an apartment!
For those looking for a quiet place to stay in the Canary Islands I would thoroughly recommend it. There are supermarkets, restaurants and bars, but in the main the area consists of apartments, houses and hotels. There is still room for expansion and on the coastal walk we saw the start of a few apartment blocks being built.
The coastal walk itself goes from the small nearby village of Los Abrigos, and I believe you can walk as far as Las Galletas. I personally did not make it that far along the path, but it is perfect to complement the searing heat, to walk along the coastal path and accept the breeze from the sea.
