At least 42 Syrian civilians killed following US-led coalition bombings

 The events have taken place in the Syrian city of Al Raqa, considered capital of Islamic State. 

With this attack, there are already 167 civilians killed by the bombings carried out by the international coalition.


 At least 42 civilians were killed in the last 24 hours by bombing the international coalition led by the US , in the city Syrian Al Raqa (northeast), considered the capital of the terrorist group Islamic State (EI) , as reported Tuesday Syrian Observatory of Human Rights. Among those killed by the bombings, which were recorded in the areas of Al Sajani, Al Badu and Al Hadiqa Baida, are 19 minors and 12 women , according to the NGO. With this attack, the number of civilians killed by shelling of the international coalition in Al Raqa increased to 167 , including 59 minors and 37 women, since last August 14, according to a report from the Observatory. According to the same source, another 27 civilians were killed last Sunday by coalition bombings in Al Raqa, the de facto capital of the caliphate proclaimed by the EI in 2014 in the territories dominated by Syria and Iraq.
