Over the last 6 months or so, Twitter has terminated over 235,000 accounts that were actively promoting or endorsing terrorism.
Which has me thinking if a decentralized social media platform such as Steemit is truly feasible longterm.
Let's pretend that Steemit continues its momentous growth. At what point will hate speech hit critical mass to the point of ridiculousness? Is decentralization TRULY feasible longterm?
I'm not sure.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day.
LOL
obviously everything is possible sure... but I haven't seen any terrorist activities on steemit... pretty sure everyone is ready to flag down to oblivion any one goind that path
I agree. But still, theoretically, as Steemit gets more and more popular, which I believe it will, it will attract all types, unfortunately.
Is the idea that there's absolutely NO censorship really feasible longterm?
That is indeed a valid point. Although we have some influence when it comes on flagging stuff. But deleting is not possible. But what is a terrorist here can be a freedom fighter somewhere else.
