September, 2016.
The FBI declassifies documents on the death of the famed inventor, Nikola Tesla.
The documents suggest that Tesla was working on a weapon of mass destruction called…
The Death Ray.
Did Tesla finish the death ray and was he killed for it?
This is how the documentary by Jack Murphy (military investigator, who prides himself to be a investigator with special abilities because of his military background), Cameron Prince (Tesla historian, "who has been studying Tesla since he was a kid") and Aron Koscho (engineer of Tesla technology) begins.
I watch most documentaries about Nikola Tesla and there are some made by the BBC that I think are quite good. This one, by Discovery Channel is… “different”.
First of, I have FBI documents that were declassified well before 2016, I believe in 1980 or there about. So let’s first look if we have the same files.
This is what is shown in the documentary:
This is what I have:
Mine is handwritten, but there seems to be a match. That means that I got these documents of the internet well before they were declassified according to this documentary.
How I wish that were the only discrepancy with reality!
This “documentary” is so full of crap that I really felt the need to counter this blast of disinfo with some truth. As I view the episodes I will post a comment here on steemit, hoping to keep Tesla enthusiasts on the right track. There is way too much BS about Tesla going round as it is!
Why add more with this “documentary”?
So let’s dive into it…
Immediately after Tesla died in January 1943 “His safe was forced open by parties unknown”, Jack Murphy reads.
I looked up that same document:
It appears we have a different version of the same document. But both don’t mention the “parties unknown”. Jack’s special research abilities probably made him skip the pages before that where one reads:
Next obvious error: “His documents stolen, many of which were never found” and “10,000 to 20,000 documents are missing”.
Well…. If they are missing, how do you know they exist? And how do you know how many there must be? This is such obvious BS, only intended to make it all sound more spectacular.
“Death Ray”, really?
According to Jack Murphy Tesla called his invention “the Death Ray”.
If he had done any research into this at all, he would know that Tesla called it “the Peace Ray”. The newspapers made up this “Death Ray” because that sounds so much more spectacular, but that is certainly not what Tesla called it.
Next Aron Koscho adds some ridiculous unfounded crap: “It could deliver 1.5 GW power to a target 250 miles away”. Now the 250 miles is indeed mentioned by Tesla in his birthday article of 1934 “Tesla, At 78, Bares New 'Death-Beam'” and is consequently copied into several other articles. But the 1.5 GW of power, where does that come from? Tesla only mentions that he needs 50 MV. Suppose that is stored in a 1 nF capacitance, then you’ll have 1.25 MJ of energy. If you were to discharge that during 0.8 ms onto a target then yes, you would deliver 1.5 GW. But there are a lot of assumptions here and, well, basically it doesn’t make any sense.
If I would deliver 1.5 J during 1 nano second, that would also be 1.5 GW but would probably do no real damage.
Aron continues: “the Death ray could be the key to wireless power distribution”
While he says this the following image is shown:
Notice that Tesla sends power through the Earth and NOT through the air as a “Death Ray” would or as Aron states later: “It’s almost like WiFi, but for power”, and illustrates:
If you make mistakes like this, that really shows that you haven’t even the faintest clue of Tesla’s work.
This is later made even more evident as he shows his prototype: a capacitor discharging through a Tesla coil. How is that even remotely related to this:
BTW, this picture is NOT from a “patent that Tesla filed towards the end of his life”.
There is no trace of such patent, nor patent application.
Snezana Sarboh, M. Sc. has done extensive and excellent research into Tesla’s patents and actually mentions this in her book “The unresolved patents of Nikola Tesla” on page 249:
This list does not contain information about a document which somewhat resembling a patent application, but is in fact an article containing information about an invention named “The New Art of Projecting Concentrated Non-dispersive Energy Through Natural Media”
This article was published on May 16th, 1935.
Aron proudly continues: “Our capacitor test actually worked”.
Yes, you can discharge a capacitor. That is what you have now proven.
Not that that wasn’t common knowledge for over a century….
Tunnels
Then this tunnel investigation…??? There is a spiral staircase in the support building leading to these tunnels, as seen here in the "generator room":
Peerless Photo Products, Inc. has dumped tons of chemical waste into these tunnels. These tunnels are a well known and well documented fact. That is like investigating if the Sun would rise in the east.
Marconi
Cameron Prince, the Tesla historian then tells us about Tesla: “Marconi has got this radio but I’m going eclipse him. I’m going to transmit power, voices, video. We’ll be able to send a page of written text wirelessly.”
Well that is not exactly how things went, Cameron. Marconi used Tesla’s patented technology to send an “S” in morse-code across the Atlantic. Marconi didn’t have anything.
The final insult (of this episode)
“Tesla conceived of the Death Ray in Colorado Springs”. Did he now? Is there any reason at all to assume this? And then why does he first mention it over 34 years later?
I haven’t seen the other episodes yet but I am quite sure these guys will not build anything that Tesla had in mind. As Tesla said in his manifesto:
“Nihil in sacculo quod non fuerit in capite”
Loosely translated as you will not achieve anything that you did not carefully plan/design first.
BTW, the "Death Ray" was re-invented around 1960, though not as powerful as Tesla would have had in mind.
I will build one, a small one, once I have time.
As with all of Tesla's works, the Peace Ray was very simple in plans and very difficult, or impossible in application.
Our current understanding of reality, brought to us by Newton and Michelson-Morley will never produce a working Peace Ray. It would have to be by pure accident. Like accidentally tuning an AM radio to an FM station.
The stories of the Peace Ray that i do not feel are accurate is that they took the ray to an army base, where Tesla disintegrated a car and a mountain top and then all the Generals said this is too powerful, so we won't use it. I haven't seen any war type people ever turn down a more powerful weapon.
As soon as we throw out all our shtupid science and start actually dealing with the real world, it will become very clear and apparent what Tesla saw. Once you know the structure of the universe, it is quite easy to take apart.
And thus, we will not see this kind of knowledge until we no longer have war.
What a nice informative content.i read over whole content.please dear upvote my post.i also with you.
great stuff as always!
Thanks for this counterpoint to misinformation. And thanks again for reminding me that you've been posting; sorry I've missed, I will try to catch up, and I want you to know that I appreciate your staying in touch! :D
