I wouldn’t pay the $8k fee or subscribe for $99/month on a regular basis for Full Self Driving.
No one should pay nothing for that. I mean for any function of the car. You bought the car, and every function should come with it. Paying additional money for any function is like buying your house twice, or paying rent for your own house, depending on the nature/frequency of the payment.
FSD really is a value-add over the car itself. It would be like hiring a driver your car, really. I just think what they're currently charging for it and the fact that you can't transfer it to future vehicles is a deal-breaker for me. IMO, $5k plus lifetime transfers would be about the proper price point. How's it going with the new hawk?
