As long as you feel your conscience is clear :) but its upsetting to see that someone with your knowledge about this blockchain cant find better way to make it work. Wouldn't it be better to sell 2k of steem and focus on creating something useful? Why minnows should create 'quality content' with hopes for peanuts when seeing something like this?
Dude, Sorry to read this! We may have something for you man! Would be great to catch up on discord or steem.chat. Hope you are ok! I know how you feel, I have been going through the same shieet!
I don't have a job right now, and after the collapse of Steem price my total vote output is $567 per month at the price of $0.31 per Steem. If I were to just do curation it would be $150 per month. I can't power down until January because I'll be hit by tax I can't afford.
I don't normally self vote and in fact I've conceded a lot of curation rewards by spending my power on downvotes over the years, but until I get a job again and can afford to buy more Steem, I don't have a lot of choice.

Interesting way to maximize steem earnings :) wouldnt it be more productive to sell votes to bots after all ?
This isn't maximising returns, it's just me trying to get by until I get a job and the tax year ends, which is in less than 1 month.

Right now Steem needs capital, not content. There's thousands of content creators and no money. If you want Steem, I suggest you buy it.
Just did, and coinbase delay my litecoins widrawal for 72 hours! This is robery, even if it will jump in price, how can I sell it on time :(
