That is what some people are saying.
Things have been shady with Tether for some time now and it appears to be getting shadier by the week as Tether parted ways with their auditor who was supposed to prove that nothing nefarious was going on.
That is a major red flag to say the least.
Which probably means that something shady is indeed going on.
The question now becomes how much will it impact markets?
I guess that depends on the degree of the shadiness.
On the whole Tether is only about a $2 billion dollar market, however, it is been very important for some exchanges and I think that is where some trouble could be brewing.
If a couple of the exchanges go down that use Tether, we could see a real hit to prices, though one I would bet bounces back quickly.
If that is the case perhaps we are about to get another buying opportunity in the very near future.
I am ready for it if we do.
tether is sneaky with the market manipulation. I think the tether tech itself is good but the people running things is dirty.
What do you think is going to happen?
Hi my response might be very delayed and I do apologize about it but here it is anyway. I don't think much will happen in the sense that it couldn't happen because of regulation and the actual enforcing of the regulation. The manipulation of the coin is in the 24 hour circulation and as we know tethers value doesn't change that much because it's based on the dollar. Regulation is far away so it's the wild west in crypto and for a coin like tether in which even the worst news can't alter your value than there isn't much to do. Again much apologies on the late response.
