We see this kind of shooting events mostly in the US. I think that individual arming in the US should be questioned again.
@lukewearchange why you upvote this? This is questioning 2A. I thought you were for 2A.
@videoaddiction look at your argument. Would bombings, stabbings or other kinds of killings be better? This is an argument not against killing, but the kind of killing. I ask because even though you may thinking all killing is bad, approaching it from this perspective produces just the results you would get. You end up with just as many killings with different kinds of weapons. If you want fewer killings, safety must be addressed. Not the weapon.
It's also a fallacy to compare US to other countries. We do not have the same cultures, geographical regions, climate, or even freedoms that other countries have. It's like asking why is gas X not the same in USA as it is in other countries? Please have a look at these stats
I don't live in a country where individual arming this much causes shooting anywhere in daily life. This can't be self-defense or something like that. Believe me there are more unsafe countries than yours in the world and it does not happen at this rate.
Plus, you can't decide who votes who. We are in a free platform and we can argue different ideas politely. What you said is just unkind.
I don't live in one either either. I think people really need to educate themselves about America's violence problem. It's also a fallacy to compare US with other countries pertaining to gun legislation when there is no comparison. It is a common argument to say that gun laws work in other countries; meanwhile, within the US gun laws are not working. Over Memorial Day weekend, there were over 40 shootings in a city where it's harder to buy guns than it is to buy drugs.
The USA has more guns than it does citizens. There are no comparable countries.
I'm not deciding who votes for who. I just said I was surprised and thought maybe he didn't quite understand the comment. Or maybe he just upvotes anyone. I mean, I could downvote you and I don't. There's nothing wrong with me asking why he made the choice he did.
Or maybe you couldn't understand what I meant? You don't know me, you haven't seen me but you judge me. You can downvote me, but my downvote would much more than yours. Anyway, I am against downvote in this platform and if you have problem with my comments you can just skip them. I can't be bothered with you.
Have a good day.
Awaken with JP! @lukewearchange he's wearing your hat!
Awesome post again!!!
