Auntie Rosie is helping with baby-sitting, but she is too afraid of my iPhone. Grandmother, Pickle also helps to calm Jilly and look after the kittens. I am very surprised that Jilly would let her kittens out in the open. These were stray cats so they don't allow people to touch them, except the big mother cat Pickle. I do hope that these new kittens would get used to people and allow us to touch them later on. Rosie and Jilly would just run off whenever people get too close.
I am amazed by the close relationship and deep feelings they have for each other.

You might be surprised, she will get used to it quickly and won't mind because she trusts you. It is very important to handle them when they are this age.
Thank you very much for your advise. It seems that my gardener has been busy trying to protect the kittens from the neighbour's cat.
Three days ago, my gardener found one kitten killed in the garden. It was probably bitten and taken by the male cat and left close to our compost heap. We have three kittens left.
I hope these will survive till this weekend. I'll be there on Friday to check things out.
That cat is a menace. It needs to be trapped and removed far away! I am so sorry for the little kitten.

Yes, last month Jilly delivered four kittens. But one kitten was killed by a male cat two weeks ago!
