A Year In Thailand
Bang Saray, Nong Prue, Pattaya, Jomtien and surrounding areas. Here's some of the shots I'm most pleased with throughout the year. Memories of good days, fine weather, cheap Thai food and 7-Eleven beer, and the camera-phone always at the ready. Never shy to approach a fine looking automobile or mingle around a bunch of fishermen on a pier, or fear hanging around a while longer to catch a sunset.

Start to Finish ... the go-cart track down on Thepprasit road, Pattaya.
Pattaya Beach panoramic sunset, Jan 2022
From Ban Amphur looking back to Bang Saray (or Bang Sare). Some guy fishing just stood up and made a lucky photo-bomb for me. He literally did appear from under a rock!
Wondering out onto the fishing pier, and observing the goings on as buckets of what looks like bait sized fish and seafood are haggled between the vessel and market runners. Black and white makes it all look that much more surreal. Notice how old and new clash, with a condo at the back and Buddhist temple spires and the boat to the sides.
Almost the same spot as in the previous photo, Bang Saray fishing piers - just looking in the opposite direction towards a navy controlled area, much of which is also a preservation area.
Ah this came out well in mono ... spotted frequently on the beach, belongs to a local business man I believe.
Of course, this was the year these 2 came into my life ... here at 8 weeks old a few days before coming home
This very interesting show modified Honda Civic was sitting about one day in the gas station and 7-Eleven parking lot. Made for a very cool subject to photograph, so thanks to whoever is the driver for this one.
'Modified' wild cactus growing on the upper side of Bang Saray beach where the road has ended, there's a fairly untouched section of beach.
Interior of wild Honda Jazz, kindly opened by the owner for me to get some great shots. This thing is stripped to the core!
Wondering around a closed down resort built in the style of ancient Khmer style temple citadel was a strange experience. Also a great find as a very cool photo-shoot location, perhaps I'll be back soon.
Having a wheelie good time ... photographing some display wheels whilst a tire got changed. Love the symmetry achieved here.
Navy controlled beach, on the other side of Bang Saray you can drive in to the base, and buy a ticket to visit the nature beach, by crossing a small mountain with monkeys living on it to get there. You'll need a scooter or car.
Exterior of that Civic, wave if you see him :)
Wild cacti on the beach
That's all folks!
Hope you enjoyed this images and words, all work is 100% my own and original. Thanks for all the votes comments follows and see you for part 2 tomorrow !
Hello @newtonclassics
Can you please do us a favor and remove the monomad tag from this post?
It's supposed to be used only with black and white photography published in the black and white community. Basically as the entry ticket for our daily challenge 🙂
yes, sorry bit too trigger happy with the formally used tags. edited.
