This thanksgiving I am a bit reflective in where I find myself. I have many things in my life to be thankful for. My health, my prosperity, and most of all my wonderful family. I have managed to work my way up in my career to a pretty nice spot and it affords me many luxuries that I never expected but truly enjoy.
I want to be mindful of this and thankful for the joys I get to experience.
I believe that our world has become very cynical we live as a society by the motto, if it bleeds it leads. This provides a very short sighted and negative view of the world.
I try to live by the rule: be easily impressed and hard to offend, by making this shift it has allowed me to maintain a simple joy of the world that I hadn’t ever experienced, there are truly some amazing people and opportunities around us if we take the time to see them. For that I am also very thankful.
To anyone that reads this I wish you a happy, cherished, and splendid Thanksgiving!
