The Broken Spear
Mai is her oldest name. You humans would call her a galaxy. I've always just called her Ema.
The broken spear represents the galaxy of Mai. The same galaxy that the planet of Tel is in.
It's an Oxygen rich environment on the inhabitable planets within Mai. Much like your planet of earth. There are many humanoid creatures, mammals, birdlike beings and marine life. She's a quite beautiful galaxy overall.
As The Origin of Tel was the first story ever told, it was within the girth of Mai that those tales began. Somewhere within Mai's stars lies the planet of Tel and the great village of Viava. You humans may not find Tel for another millennia or two, if you do at all.
Yet, if the human race ever hits their first technological singularity, you may just have a chance. You're quite lucky you know, that you're so well hidden. You're safe. For now.
The broken spear is a symbol of hope.
Anyone within Mai that's listening understands this symbol.
A symbol of all the spears lost, or will be lost, in every battle throughout her boundaries. Of the chaos that comes from the expansion of sentience throughout the universe.
Often referred to as the mother galaxy, Mai feels and understands the breath of all within her. Alive in a way that humans fall short of understanding. There are some among you that understand, a little. If you only knew how to listen.
There have been creatures and civilizations alike taken by the spears of those within Mai. She's a god to some. A scientific pursuit to others. Yet throughout her she is felt by all beings.
The symbols I'm showing within these texts are timeless. Appearing most often when there is something to learn.
Your galaxy may talk to you. To learn to hear her, notice these symbols. Understand them and commit them to memory.
As I tell the stories of old, you will begin to understand the scope of our universe.
Let this symbol ring in your minds-eye and and remember where you saw it. Remember what it means. Learn to listen.
