This draw was a little complicated.

So, at this moment we have 10 members, each assigned a random number between 1 - 50. When we hold our weekly lottery draw we use the Friday EuroMillions first ball drop to determine a winner .. each number in the EuroMillions is between 1 - 50. At the moment, because we only have 10 of 50 numbers assigned, we must choose the closest assigned member to the first number in the lottery draw.

We had a tie!

The first number that came down was ..

7 !

The closest members were @nenad-ristic (3) and @okkiedot (11), each with 3 numbers between them and the winning number. Therefore, in the case of a tie, which again will not occur when we have our 50 members, we go to the next ball drop in the same EuroMillions draw.

Behold!

The Second # to Drop ... 43 !

Our closest member is ....

@steemfactory! congrats (total win: 100 STEEM!)

All the50 members, please send @steemfactory 10 STEEM!

It's not difficult - follow the above link and declare your desire to join. We'll have a look at your account to make sure you are active and reputable, and have a "decent" amount of STEEMPower, after which we will assign you a random available # between 1 - 50. The weekly lottery is a method of remaining engaged with the group, it's fun and can be rewarding! Each week, each member will contribute 10 STEEM to the lottery pot - see above!

The other aspect is our group curation effort - each member upvotes the posts of all other members, at 50% power (or anything above as you wish). We are running a bot for this purpose, in which each member provides their posting key, and so you will not have to spend time checking each member's daily activity. Just private message @the50 or @kurtbeil in the club chat (see link above).

We'll do this again next Friday, hopefully with more members!
