Wow, that were some days of ups and downs; I almost left steemit, as I felt that it was falling apart and going nowhere. Fortunately I sat down for a night and dug deep into this blockchain. On this trip I discovered a layer in steemit where - instead of complaining and calling for @ned - people decided to take action themselves. Since then I am an avid follower of these wars. They might go down in history as the Wars of Steemians Finally Realizing what Freedom & Anarchy Means. And the narration is amazing!
I was always a bit taken aback when people on this platform called for the 'bosses' to police a bit more. This is the habit of our fucked up world pouring over into this anarchist platform. No surprise: Almost nobody is used to live without directors/presidents/bosses or whatever you want to call them. But finally it seems that more and more steemians start to understand the meaning of self-governing, micro-policing and taking responsibility .
I am very impressed by @ned and his patience to let this play out, and thus have a chance to mature. Respect!

I am happy that you stay Klaus. As you know I had similar thoughts and I wanted to leave after just a couple of weeks. Especially when I saw the content on the trend page. But we can fight for the good for ourselves and dont need a strong man. First time time I see a platform where true anarchism can exist, we just have it in our hands now.

Glad to hear you are happy again on Steem @captainklaus. I wrote about similar feelings a couple of weeks ago. From the comments I received it seems that this is all part an parcel of being on this platform and most people go through a lot of ups and downs.
I'm just taking it day by day and enjoying it again. I am also following the shenanigans of the people in mention. It was a long time coming but now things seem to be moving in a more positive direction again. We will see!

How can I help? I have little more then a commitment to use the steemit platform and give out upvotes. I learned very quickly that the trending and Hot tab pages are less then inspiring. I read real post on the new tab every day and thats how I found some enjoyment on steemit.
