Want To Catch a Whale - *GUARANTEED*? (Some Tools and Tips)

Virtually everybody wants to be a whale and definitely catch one swimming by your part of the ocean here on Steemit. Well, lucky for you, I've compiled a list of things that can increase your chances of being spotted! One is even GUARANTEED to land you a whopper. How cool is that? Is that where you want me to start? The sure-fire way of harpooning a massive swimmer? Ok...but it's gonna cost ya.

  1. @randowhale
    randowhale.jpg
This is simple. There are three steps.
    a) Go to your wallet under Steem Dollars and select 'Transfer'
    b) enter @randowhale as the recipient and 2.000 SBD as the amount
    c) in the memo field, enter the URL of the post you wish to be upvoted
Done. Now, I would check to see and make sure he hasn't already upvoted said post beforehand, just to be sure. He may have found it and liked it so much he decided to give a push ;)

  2. #whalepower
This is actually a group of whales that curate people's posts for 'free'. The only catch is there is a lot reading involved and you have to do the same for their posts. Which, isn't a bad thing, just takes a while to follow all of them and resteem all their posts. You can choose that route if you like...I'm not in the area where I can devote enough time to follow them around personally, but maybe you are?

  3. Catch A Whale
This is a tool created by @blueorgy. What it does is tells you which whales are online and the probability of them seeing your new post. Excellent tool if you can find a good time for a massive pod swimming through your current.

  4. Whale Sonar
A little more visual than catch a whale, but with less statistics, used in combination, they can be powerful. I really like this one because you can adjust the Steem power and it will also show dolphins and says the voting power they have remaining. I bet @elviento had fun creating it.

There you have it big blue sea. Hopefully, this helps someone out there in their conquest to navigate the deep dark waters of our beautiful #Steemit ocean. Until next time, Steem On!
