OOps sorry I am lucky I only see it occassionaly with the grandkids and dont have to deal with it, but I still have no idea what was wrong with math the way we learnt it

I understand people learn differently and nothing is one size fits all, but if you teach kids to learn like that they'll never become the engineers and scientist of tomorrow. I would never have finished 1 physics problem in college if I followed what they teach math nowadays.
