The Descendents: A Punk Rock Band That Means A Lot To Me

in #thedescendents7 years ago (edited)

This is my favorite band that I would like to see before I die.

Introduction

The Descendents formed in 1977 with the guitarist Frank Navetta, the bassiest Tony Lombardo, the drummer Bill Stevenson, and the lead vocalist Milo Aukerman. They came out with albums like I Don't Want To Grow Up, Everything Sucks, and Milo Goes To College. They are still playing today which is awesome. They made an album 2 years ago, which is their lastest album, It was called Hypercaffium Spazzinate. That album was more of a alternative album where he is older guy about in his late 60s and still preforming. But, one of myfavorite albums that I enjoyed the most was Milo Goes to College. That I will shoe to you guys right now.

Milo Goes to College

This album was made in 1982. The album was about the character made up by the band Milo. In his albums Milo grows up to be the lead singer who's name is also named Milo. So, this album is about the lead singer going to college. Most of the names in this song end with a A G E, for example Bikeage and Mayage.
I would reccomend this band if you like punk rock or hadcore punk. If you are not into that stuff then I don't think that you would like the band.
