I am indeed thanks very much!
I was gone surfing, now came back home and someone did a cheesecake in the meantime. Oh Gosh I am in Heaven!!! :D
Mmmmmm cheeeeeeeeesecake is my favourite, though I haven't made it for so long since I stopped baking with sugar. I will create a new recipe because now you've gone and put it in my head!!!
Hahaha, sorry for that! :D
I totally agree with you. Cheescake is priceless. What do you use instead of sugar then?
Depends what I'm making, but usually honey, dates, fruit - bananas, apples, mango, pineapple etc, veg - sweet potato, carrot, parsnip etc... things like that!
I´ve never stopped using sugar, does it make a huge difference?
I love sweet potatoes, could probably eat them every day!
I find that I don't get the highs and lows in energy since I stopped using sugar, and I don't crave sweet treats either. I used to eat several choc bars or biscuits or cakes every single night - it didn't make me fat, I was UK size 8 - but energy levels were all over the place. Sugar is more addictive than cocaine as well, and when you eat it your whole brain lights up like a pinball machine, whereas with cocaine or heroin only one part of the brain lights up! So that kinda sums up why I stopped :-)
