This can worth a try, but we need something more at a long-term. Steemboost was a step in the right direction.

How can you promote a platform? With happy users.

How can you have happy users? By rewarding their activities.

How can you reward their activities? LACK LACK LACK (like any social media).

Steemboost was the FIRST step into the world of article sharing, article promotion and so on. If that will work, we'll have a stronger community with stronger individuals willing to help the promotion of Steemit.

For example: would you promote steemit if your earnings stay as low as 0.50$/post? It would be nonsense in my country, for example, because you can get that amount of money from a lot of websites.

People don't always get the "coolest" part. But they get the exposure of their contents. So we can try to figure out how to give that exposure to them.

Hope that'll help :)

Maybe if we can do this for one week we will be able to do it again and again! Please don't mix #thegreencandle with steemboost.com here. These are 2 separate projects and ideas. Steemboost.com will soon come with one valuable improvement. Thank you for your interest!

I didn't "mix" them. I was trying to make my opinion valuable for the project.

You are the developer of a program which could help in the purpose of the article, so "improving the value of steem". So I just quoted it to let assume that in my opinion it was a starting point that could face the matter better than thegreencandle.

Also, thegreencandle is not for absolute beginners, since many of them don't know what Steem power is and how to power down. So I think it's a bit more complex.

Nothing to lose, anyway :) we can try :)
