Okay, it took longer than I planned this to be. It's supposed to be a 30-day challenge of writing about the lessons I learned and upheld in my three (3) decades here on Earth. This project was targeted to end on my birthday but here I am 2 months and a day later writing the last one. I could be disappointed with myself for not sticking with the schedule but I choose to be grateful that I am able to do this despite all that I have been through these couple of months.
"Have people dear to you, people who proclaim their love and support to you disappointed you at some point in your life?"
"Have you worked so hard for a goal but failed to achieve it?"
"Have you felt that life is more like a penalty or a punishment for everything seems to not be working according to how you wish it would?"
If your answer to these questions is a resounding YES, you are not alone. I had my fair share.
I don't blame friends, family or loved ones for not showing up for me each and every time I needed them. I totally get it; we live different lives and are sometimes, bombarded with trials and tribulations that prevent us from journeying with other people in their difficult days. They fall short and that's okay.
I rest in peace every night as I am reminded that I might feel lonely and helpless at times but I am never truly all by myself. I have the only thing I need and that in itself makes each and every burden bearable. May the light of the Lord shine upon the darkest hours of our lives. May His peace find a home in our hearts today and always.

At this point in time, I don't blame anybody again, I think it's not worth it. Sometimes I just accept life the way it is. Humans will fail you, but God will not.
