Another week, another handful of sentiments to give us pause to think positively. Positivity proliferation is a fantastic function of the blockchain so let's get thoughtful. Alliterations aside, @Wesphilbin waves the #thoughtfuldailypost flag for us and has created @thoughtfulposts as the curation account you can delegate to in order to boost its reward power for thoughtful posts.

Lennox Lewis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennox_Lewis is a 3-time heavyweight boxing champion, which pretty much makes him among the baddest asses in modern history. Imagine that he would be coming at us with such wise words about wisdom!
Because I am a D&D nerd, I know there is a distinct division between intelligence and wisdom, and a reason they are separate traits. I like to think of intelligence as aptitude and innate/trained ability to process something mentally/intellectually. Wisdom is an entirely different thing. It may be more of a culmination of experiences, and hard lessons learned with experience and failure. I know very smart people who do really dumb things because of a lack of wisdom. I know people who are not particularly bright who have years learning while failing and sage advice for days. Intelligence can lead to delayed wisdom development, and lack of intelligence can lead to hard lessons that result in accelerated wisdom acquisition. These are more my realizations of things that are known than unique thoughts but I am proud to come by them.
I love the acknowledgement of the time spent in the trial of the journey with results including understanding, experience, knowledge and patience. Let us use that patience to allow others the time to develop wisdom of their own.

Nothing Exists
How cool is the name Democritus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democritus or to have a sculpted bust as your avatar? How about being a Greek philosopher who cut his teeth before Socrates, and basically defined the atomic theory of the universe?
Now that we know the quality of the mind this statement came from, let our simple minds try and grasp the concept. I like to say the universe doesn't care about your economic status or the hours you spend working tirelessly on the numbers behind your credit card, and your credit score. How much does this simplify and polarize that? Not only does your financial status not really matter, neither does anything except the fact we have assembled as atoms, and are wandering infinitely in space.
Let's just take some time to go enjoy this random intersection of atoms.

Just a thought on your thoughts: if nothing really matters isn't it that like saying that everything matters (the same, and therefore also, a LOT)?
...or perhaps that an alternative to the Universe doesn't care is that it does intimately care about absolutely everything, deeply and to the level of a blade of grass or the deepest shame/pain experienced by any Being?
Perception, creativity, opinion, concepts etc may be ways of slicing and dicing a unified whole into the illusion of separate parts.
It's a dance :)
I agree that there is huge and pivotal value in those opinion. Besides our self worth and inspiration to live a good life, the real value we have is to positively effect the universe.
We make it matter and that is our superpower!
I agree. Feelings/emotions matters, and are the most important things. We (both humans, animals and every living being) and our feelings/emotions are eternal. There is no time. No past, no future. Just/only the present and the eternity. So there is infinite time.

It may seem redundant to keep cycling this sentiment but we often need reminders and encouragement to live in the present. While our time spent as this particular combination of...particles, is incredibly finite, may our impact positively echo into infinity.
There is a great difference between intelligence and wisdom but it's good to acquire both as none should be missing in one life's.The world has no business in our lives expect our our success and how much atom we can assemble.
