It was a good day
A day like no other, as there will never be,
another day alike as the one that passed by.
Smiles in the morning and smiles to the eve,
and I listened as you sang yourself to sleep.
Treasures at sunrise, close the lid at night,
waiting for the next to open tomorrow again.
Will the day arrive with the voice of laughter,
and will it end again in rendition of your song.
Cheeky is the smile, full of cheek every word,
watching every detail that draws attention away.
The lights shine when you ask where's the moon,
eyes shine when you ask to feed the last spoon.
Moments are flying fast, hours are getting short,
while the size you feel you are grows by the day.
Half my height and you're already twice my heart,
tomorrow and the one to follow another to start.

Thank you.
Beautiful words for your beautiful daughter!
She is such a cutie when in a good mood.
That is a beautiful smile!
Are you aware of @commentcoin? I've found it is the perfect way to reward engagers on my posts.
That is a fantastically good picture of @smallsteps.
:)
@tarazkp how beautiful is the love of parents make us feel protected, safe and loved. God bless your beautiful family.
Parenting might potentially be the worst job in the world at times, also the most rewarding.
Upvoted for small because I'm no longer capable of analysing poems so the best you would have gotten from me is "good post" ;D
Gaaaaaaahhhhhh how is she sooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute.
She hates getting into the bath about 50% of the time, loves playing in the bath 100% of the time. Kids are weird :D
It's sometimes a switching gears thing or sometimes an attempt to exert control thing. They don't want to stop whatever it is they're doing to get in the bath, and when you finally get them in the bath that's the new normal and then they don't want to stop that XD
Would be nice to be able to retain the speed of adjustment to create new normals sometimes :)
