Okay, news to me! (LOL at the gif.... he looks even more confused than I feel, I think!)
I've been trying to get a hold of these people for weeks. It seems so promising, but I haven't had any luck.
Something that's foreign to me is being required to log into threespeak through some other account/service. Normally every service I use has its own login and password. The way this requires login via Google or FaceBook is awkward.
I don't use Steemconnect and have never given it my keys, but I've done so now so that I can use it to log into threespeak.
Hopefully I'll have a video up there soonish. Thanks.

LOL.. yeah wrong gif I guess.
At this point you'd only be able to watch and comment, but not upload. The platform is still very new and isn't actually officially launched yet. There's probably a long queue of applicants judging by how many people are complaining about that. Hopefully soon they'll open the kimono to let everyone in when everything's stable.

All content creators login through Steemconnect to access the creator studio. Steem is a blockchain and the account creation on Steem is not free. You can fully anonymously purchase a Steem account with Ethereum.

Thanks for the info!
And while I have you, here is some more about myself and my desire to join 3speak. It's a post I wrote a couple weeks ago, about my battle against censorship.
Another link I didn't get to include in my application was my cannabis activism FB page. Heavily shadowbanned since the beginning, I could only get new Likes manually (directly linking friends/contacts and asking them to Like the page). It never showed up anywhere else, like it wasn't even there unless you knew exactly where to look. A few weeks ago I was completely deplatformed by FB, no real reason given, except perhaps some comments criticizing fundamental zionism, or that they couldn't be certain I was really the owner of the account.
My account is gone, but at least for now, my activism page is still up. You can see the kinds of things I posted about there, which led to my deplatforming.
(If I make a brand new account, it gets insta-deleted by FB, no reason given.)
I've tried getting on Bitchute (read about it here) but my videos won't play on their site, there's no delete function, and no FAQ or help.

When somebody finally gets that right, the alternative media (and millions of new users) will materialize. It's a real shame that it hasn't already been happening for years. There's a HUGE need, and we have the technology, but nobody's doing a great job of implementing it. Content-creators like myself have valuable material constantly flowing out of us. All we need is somewhere to release it to the world, and they will come. Who will make it happen, and when?
Looking forward to hearing back from you! I have a video for 3speak ready to post. It says yesterday's date in it, but that's okay. (I didn't know there was a delay between getting an account and becoming a content creator.)

I'm now replying to your comment on 3speak (not Steemit).
Assuming this goes through, sweet, I have another front end!
If I can upload without paying, I'm going to do that soon.
