I see this crypto cryptocurrency as a threat to our platform without mentioning that already facebook to do business with the information of personal data to governments that tells us that they also will not get their hands on our money once they have it on their platform I I do not see it for sure
From my side I like how it's handled :
"A note on Facebook, Inc.’s role — Facebook teams played a key role in the creation of the Libra Association and the Libra Blockchain, working with the other Founding Members. While final decision-making authority rests with the association, Facebook is expected to maintain a leadership role through 2019. Facebook created Calibra, a regulated subsidiary, to ensure appropriate separation between social and financial data and to build and operate services on its behalf on top of the Libra network. Once the Libra network launches, Facebook, and its affiliates, will have the same commitments, privileges, and financial obligations as any other Founding Member. As one member among many, Facebook’s role in governance of the association will be equal to that of its peers."
For me it's looks like a serious alternative to banking systems and actual crypto as each has it's own drawbacks.
If it's true, you're right and good point of view
Hello there Brian, hot day in Tel Aviv? Yeah I quite know how it feels. In my opinion, Facebook can be confused sometimes, hated crypto now they have white paper and whatnot. I don't think it worthwhile banning Nigeria in it's entirety because I know that there are scam everywhere. Nevertheless whether Libra becomes a sucess or not, Cryptocurrency will never be banned from all advert again and that's the only advantageous aspect of Libra to me
So much news about new facebook project. I think bitcoin green trend result mass adoption crypto in world.
This is so important! JPB Liberty! good luck! I mean, if facebook can declare crypto ads banned from their platform, and then release their own crypto a year later... Well, I think you have a case. I am signed up!
Yes, the Crypto Class Action is our best hope to stop them.
I'm now reading in the press (right or wrong who knows) that Facebook have been working on Libra for over a year and looking at the white paper it seems likely that's true. Which means their ad ban came almost exactly when they started this project.
It's despicable.
"One crypto to rule them all, one crypto to find them, one crypto to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them......"
Facebook is centralised system- it is not good

It's very interesting to see what happens. We still don't know much about Libra. When the details come, it will be possible to talk about future success. Facebook enters a huge and challenging market.
Congratulations @brianoflondon!
