Good point! As for myself, I think I had much more freedom of speech when I was younger, but you're right, maybe it was never 100%. Maybe 100% freedom is only an ideal to strive toward, not a state to exist in.
It's funny when talking about how the various religions and factions within those religions are basically trying to take over the world, and make everybody believe what they believe. It's even funnier because I was raised christian but ended up going my own way when I woke up (after the internet came along). I was "atheist" for a while, then "agnostic", and eventually more like "spiritual". I don't know what god is, if there was a beginning to the cosmos or if it always existed, what happened before I was alive, and what will happen after. I believe in love, and morality, and truth, and lots of other vague-sounding things. I think a lot of religious belief is messed up and contradictory. I don't think religions have a monopoly on goodness. Goodness can happen outside of religion, and evil can happen within religion. I don't think I have all the answers, but I know that a lot of religious dogma is wrong. I also know that not everything the religions say is incorrect. They are right about many things. Nothing is black and white, nothing is perfect, nothing is all good or all evil. The wiser I get, the more I realize I know almost nothing at all. All I really know is that I want freedom to exist, to search for happiness, to keep myself as healthy as possible, and to explore these ideas and more.

Agree again. As a Muslim I believe in the bible and the Torah. I believe in Moses I believe in Jesus. Most importantly I believe in one god as the other 2 religions. People take lines and paragraphs out of a 600+ page book to demonize Muslims. 90+ % teaches how to live as a human which is what you mentioned the good stuff. Overall there is a war going on within mankind good vs evil you could say. Media and everything is pushing you to science and away from religion. If I believed there was no god nothing after I die just goes black. I would kill myself now I don't wanna be old in pain shitting myself. But i can't coz one of the major sins is suicide. Which brings me to suicide bombers how are they Muslim? When it clearly says suicide murder harming others is strictly forbidden. Majority are false flags and just straight up lies. I don't if someone is religious or non believes in anything or nothing as long as they are happy. Unfortunately no-one is happy lol

Well there's too much division in the world already and I think a lot of it is perpetuated by religions. Sometimes it's the elites playing us off each other, just to cause more division, strife, confusion, and to take the heat off themselves. They're ultra rich and powerful, and also corrupt, so what can we expect? It's amazing so many people still deny that it's happening. I know the news is constantly demonizing one religious group or another, while simultaneously always giving a free pass to the fundamentalist jews such as the zionists. Which is essentially because, as most of us are now realizing, they have been manipulating society for 100 years, and in other ways for much longer than that. History is obscured, but it can be uncovered. Those of us who find/speak this truth are labeled conspiracy nuts, or antisemitic, or hateful, or extreme.
Just curious if you're into hiphop at all. I have a buddy who goes by Disl Automatic, caucasian american born to muslim parents. His lyrics are always conscious and he believes in power to the people. He has a pretty sweet track on this topic called Free Free Palestine. I wonder how long until YT takes that video down for being 'hateful'?
Anyway, lots of good ideas and questions. Thanks for the reply!
Love hip hop but slightly older school even the music over the past decade has become noise neutral, liquid neutral whatever shut they are pushing these days lol will check it out for sure. Thank you
