I understand the videos are being stored in AWS or something similar. What happens when government officials ask Amazon (or whatever hosting service you are using to store the videos) to remove a controversial video?.
Is it truly censorship free then?.

If I remember correctly they are using the LBRY blockchain for storage.

Based on this post by @wehmoen, it sounds like hosting is not currently decentralized at all.
I agree with @greencross in the sense that censorship resistance here depends not on the values of the creators, but instead the technical resistance to centralized interference.
Hi. We do not use AWS to store the videos. If we receive a court order we have to remove the video from our website. But that does not mean that we actually delete it. Follow our blog if you want to learn more about how we will make 3Speak more decentralised and accessible in future updates.
