THROWBACK II: An Outreach Program

in #throwback7 years ago (edited)

When I was in 2nd year college, we had conducted a program for those who are in need. We are glad that we have given them atleast small gift and love for them to realized that there still always a person who could help for others in many aspect of our life.

We are so lucky to have a decent clothes, own a built-in house, and clean daily necessities needed to sustain our life. But still, some of us take it for granted. Some may feel that they are cursed  because of small difficulties they encounter without  knowing that there are more people living in worst  than what they think.

In order to give them happiness, me and my classmates prepared a special dish that is what we called "sopas". Also, we gave notebooks and pencils for those kids who are living there.   I am glad that they cheerfully enjoyed what we shared for them. We are proud to make them feel happy in a simple way.

This are my classmates who exerted an effort to pursue our mission that time.

This two kids are just a resemblance and signifies that there is always hope. Sometimes when we are on a certain situation wherein we exert so much effort into something because of its importance and still we cant achieve it, finding a way to pursue it yet you still didn't get it. Then you may feel a bit insecure to other people without even notice that this kind of people still acquire a brilliant smile despite of the situation they facing.  Always keep the faith that something good will happen. Perceive that we are responsible of our happiness and spread that happiness to anyone such our love ones, friends and relatives as well as people who are in need just like them.

We can help them in many ways as long as we are willing to give.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". - Luke 6:31

 spread the love.
